Bvlgari Gyan EDP
Description
Gyan is jasmine at midnight: a night-blooming floral wrapped in dark patchouli and smoky incense. It belongs to Bvlgari's Le Gemme, the house's high-perfumery collection in which each scent is tied to a gemstone, and Gyan's stone is the sapphire of Kashmir. The name is Sanskrit for "divine wisdom". Composed by Jacques Cavallier Belletrud and released in 2016, it is built on three materials. Jasmine sambac gives a rich, slightly indolic glow, patchouli adds an earthy depth, and incense lays a dry, resinous smoke over both. The effect is an oriental-woody scent that feels contemplative rather than showy.
