Melon Malo is juicy melon and candied ginger pulled into the dark by oud, leather and rose. Borntostandout had it composed by Jordi Fernández as a deliberate paradox, with the brand describing the bright melon and a darker base as "locked in a tense embrace". Candied ginger, cinnamon bark and mandarin spark around the melon. Bulgarian rose, rose petals, red berries and patchouli fill the heart, and oud, cistus, Georgywood, leather and musks carry the base. The house pitches it at people who come alive at night, and the structure backs that up: the fruit is the hook, and the dark woods are the point.
