Description

Drunk Saffron EDP is Borntostandout's answer to a night that got out of hand, in the best way. Perfumer Honorine Blanc opens on velvety plum steeped in cognac, lets saffron bloom into leather and roasted coffee, and finishes on Indonesian patchouli, vanilla, and musk. It reads boozy and a little reckless - a gourmand-spice hybrid built for people who don't apologize for being the loudest one in the room.

Scent Character

  • Sweet - 56%
  • Leather & Resin - 25%
  • Spicy - 12%
  • Woody - 6%

Translation: there's no actual oud or agarwood here - the dark, smoky depth comes from leather and patchouli-driven resin layered under a boozy-sweet plum, not agarwood.

FAQ

Does this smell like oud?
No - despite the dark, resinous depth, there's no agarwood in the formula; the richness comes from leather, coffee, and patchouli.

Is it sweet or spicy?
Sweet leads by a wide margin (plum, cognac, vanilla), with saffron and patchouli adding spice and grit underneath.

Best season?
Fall and winter nights - it runs warm and can feel heavy in summer heat.

Sample or bottle first?
Start with a sample; the boozy-plum opening is distinctive enough that you'll know within a wear or two if it's yours.
