• Citrus Riviera (EDP): lemon, mandarin, neroli and fig, then orange blossom, jasmine, immortelle and strawberry over white musk, patchouli, vetiver and tonka bean. A sunny citrus floral and the freshest of the fourteen.
• Crème de Cuir (EDP): pineapple, mandarin and bergamot, then white suede, sandalwood and pink pepper over white and grey musk, vanilla and birch. A soft, citrusy suede.
• Gris Charnel (EDP): fig, cardamom and black tea over iris, vetiver, sandalwood and tonka bean. Creamy, soft and easy to wear.
• Gris Charnel Extrait: the same fig, cardamom and black tea opening, with cistus in the heart and patchouli, vanilla and cedar deepening the sandalwood base. Warmer and more textured than the EDP.
• Impadia (EDP): pear, mandarin and bergamot, then Bulgarian and Turkish rose with orange blossom over praline, vanilla, sandalwood and Akigalawood. A sweet, glowing rose.
• Pas Ce Soir Extrait: pear, ginger and cocoa, then jasmine, orange blossom and quince over patchouli, vanilla and benzoin. Fruity, sweet and gourmand.
• Rouge Smoking (EDP): cherry, pink pepper and bergamot, then vanilla and heliotrope over tonka bean, ambroxan, cashmeran, white musk and labdanum. A powdery cherry and vanilla.
• Rouge Smoking Extrait: cherry, almond and red mandarin, then a milk accord, tonka bean, Peru balsam and labdanum over rum, saffron, vanilla, patchouli and oud. Darker, boozier and richer than the EDP.
• Tabac Rose (EDP): plum, pink pepper and lemon, then Turkish rose, cinnamon and a chocolate accord over tobacco, patchouli and labdanum. Dark, warm and a little jammy.
• Tubéreuse Impériale (EDP): pink pepper and geranium, then tuberose, ylang-ylang, jasmine and iris over vanilla, sandalwood, frankincense, benzoin and patchouli. A creamy white floral with a resinous edge.
• Vanille Caviar (EDP): blackcurrant bud, cardamom and calamus, then vanilla, cocoa bean and osmanthus over Madagascar vanilla, Peru balsam and labdanum. A resinous, spiced vanilla rather than a sugary one.
• Vanille Leather (EDP): violet and pink pepper, a tuberose, jasmine and orange blossom heart, and a base of vanilla, iris, benzoin and leather. Powdery and floral rather than tough.
• Velvet Tonka (EDP): almond and orange blossom, then rose and tobacco over tonka bean, vanilla, amyris and amberwood. Sweet, nutty and cozy.

How To Use a Discovery Set

Each 1mL sample comes in a 2mL vial filled halfway, so the vial will look half full. That is the correct amount, and it gives you roughly 15 sprays. Every vial is labeled with the fragrance name.

Wear one fragrance a day, on skin rather than a paper strip, and give it the whole day. The first ten minutes are the loudest and least representative part of any fragrance, so judge it at hour three. Once you have a shortlist of two, wear them on opposite wrists and compare. Save the two pairs for side-by-side days: Gris Charnel and its Extrait on one day, Rouge Smoking and its Extrait on another, one on each wrist. It is the quickest way to decide which concentration you actually prefer.
