Description

Shanghai 1930 is a lush tuberose-jasmine floral that opens on tea and ripe fruit. Arturetto Landi composed it for Astrophil & Stella as a portrait of 1930s Shanghai, which the house calls mysterious, romantic and inscrutable. It starts with a fresh tea accord, green tea with bergamot and violet leaves, alongside mango, plum and a touch of cinnamon. The heart is a full bouquet of tuberose, jasmine sambac, champaca, magnolia, ylang-ylang and orchid. It dries down to sandalwood, myrrh, white musk, tonka and vanilla, powdery and warm. It is made at 25% as an extrait.

Scent Character

Translation: a white floral first, sweetened with ripe fruit and vanilla. The small smoky share is the myrrh in the base, and the fresh share is the tea on top. There is no oud in it.
