Amouage Portrayal Man EDP (DISCONTINUED)
Description
Portrayal Man channels the audacious spirit of 1920s bohemian London, where dandies and disaffected artists defied convention in pursuit of unfiltered self-expression. Composed by Pierre Negrin and launched in 2019 under creative director Christopher Chong, it's a portrait of authenticity unbound: arrogant, glamorous, and quietly rebellious. Violet leaves lend a dandyish opening before vetiver settles into a smoky, leather-toned heart, while cade oil grounds the composition in a raw, woody afterglow. Amouage has since discontinued the fragrance.
Scent Character
An aromatic-woody composition: a green, powdery violet-leaf opening over an earthy vetiver heart, closing on smoky, leathery cade oil, cypriol, and patchouli.
Translation: a smoky, leather-toned woody aromatic, unconventional and slightly raw rather than polished.
