Myths Woman is Amouage's green floral chypre, the feminine half of the 2016 Myths duo, and a more classically structured composition than its smoky masculine counterpart. Created by Nathalie Lorson, it opens on chrysanthemum, narcissus, violet leaf, and labdanum (green, slightly bitter, and unmistakably niche) before carnation, ambergris, and patchouli deepen the heart. Moss, leather, and musk anchor the drydown into a genuine chypre, a structure that's become increasingly rare since IFRA restrictions reshaped the category. It's a sophisticated, old-world floral for someone who wants depth over sweetness.
