Meander, from Amouage's Renaissance Collection, is a poetic tribute to Oman's Khareef. The monsoon season that turns the southern Dhofar mountains fog-green each summer. Perfumer Mackenzie Reilly opens with earthy carrot seed and peppery frankincense, moves through a foggy floral heart of orris, narcissus, and rose warmed by smoky cypriol, and lands on a grounded base of sandalwood, frankincense, and vetiver. It reads as damp earth and green mountains rather than a conventional floral or woody fragrance, genuinely evocative of place.
