Amouage Lineage EDP
Description
Amouage Lineage is a pilgrimage in scent: a journey outward that becomes a journey inward. Created by Karine Vinchon-Spehner and launched in 2023, salty incense and warm mineral facets evoke sun-baked landscapes far from home, while spiced ginger and Sichuan pepper spark the senses awake at the outset. As frankincense and myrrh deepen into vetiver, patchouli, and labdanum, the fragrance settles into something meditative and grounded.
Scent Character
An amber-spicy composition built on frankincense and myrrh: peppery, salty, and mineral up top, resinous and grounded through the base. There's no true agarwood in the formula. The depth comes entirely from olibanum, myrrh, and labdanum.
Translation: a salty, mineral incense-amber, spicy and meditative rather than sweet or floral.
