Perennial opens like the first hour of spring, with bright citrus and ginger breaking through cool morning green, mint and galbanum sharpening the air with unmistakable vitality. As it settles, gardenia and jasmine unfurl beneath a hint of violet leaf, holding on to that verdant freshness even as the light begins to change. But nothing stays new forever: vetiver, leather and tobacco rise from beneath, grounding the composition in something older and more enduring, as if the same bloom returns each year a little wiser.
